Full-time Maven Technologies LLC has an opening for the position of Sr. Backend Developer (Ref#SBED214SS).
Work Location: Matthews, NC and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Responsible for software analysis, design, development, implementation, and testing of object-oriented applications and web-based enterprise applications using both back-end and
front-end technologies. Gather and analyze requirements and architect solutions with system design, system engineering, and appropriate process flow and implementation with Agile methodology.
Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions.
Involved in data acquisition, data ETL (extract, transform, load), data cleansing, data preprocessing, data logging, process management, and statistical analyses techniques.
Configure Jenkins pipeline for CI/CD (continuous integration / continuous delivery). Develop new services and maintain existing services to gather data and write test cases for coverage and testing.
Develop cloud functions and deploy for supporting respective features. Work on tech optimization tasks and security tasks. Use of Agile, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ReactJS, Node.js, Angular, REST APIs,
Jenkins, Splunk, MySQL, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and JIRA.
Requirements: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Programmer Analyst, Software Engineer, or related experience.
Position requires 1 year of experience with Agile, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs. 40hrs/week.
